New faces…
It’s Friday and Ausdance Master School is over. We had Byron Perry teaching the Contemporary this year was great. Nice start to the year! I taught Contact Improvisation, good stuff! Feel energized.
Tomorrow I’m off to work with my collaborators in WA, Perth to do the second stage development of ‘Remote Real’. We developed the first draft in Sweden at the dance platform Rorelsen in Malmo. www.rorelsen.com Now we have a three week residency at Deckchair Theatre in Freemantle and will do a showing on 11th Feb.
Unfortunately we will not have Swedish dancer and choreographer Madeleine Karlsson here as she didn’t get the travel grant. But Rhiannon Newton and Helen Duncan will join the work. I haven’t worked with either of them before, but have heard great things and am looking forward to meet them.
