I have now seen Hieronymous Bosch’s ‘Garden of earthly delights’ at Prado in Madrid. For my work ‘No place’ I have been reading about the Surrealists and about their inspiration and admiration for Bosch’s work. It is an exquisite work of art. I did feel I needed time to notice all the characters, beings and events which almost overwhelms you but mesmerizes you in one hit! Will definitely go again before I leave Spain. I am also going to Museo Thysen-Bornemisza this week to see Dali, Ernst, Tanguy etc. It is exciting being here.
